The activities of PolymerExpert are the following:

• Synthesis of innovative polymers according to precise specifications
• Large scale polymer synthesis or formulation
• Characterization and analysis with state-of-the-art equipment

PolymerExpert has also developed its own materials for medical devices, cosmetics, and automotive applications…. These include smart polymers such as: shape memory polymers, photochromic polymers, self-repairing polymers, sliding polymers, and gelling polymers. Finally, since 2014, PolymerExpert has dedicated part of its activity to green chemistry and has taken the challenge of creating innovative, high-performance and bio-based materials.

Based in Pessac near Bordeaux, the company currently employs 25 people and generates a turnover of 5.3 million euros. In 2021, the company will revolutionize the world of cosmetic ingredients with EstoGel® Green, a 100% biosourced polymer certified by COSMOS.
